Gilbert fanart :D No ref so probably inaccurate as hell but I figured I should share because it’s the internet.
Tried leaving the sketch in this time - not sure how I feel about it.

RECRUITMENT ~ Kaze To Ki No Uta

kazetokinoutaproject:

Kaze To Ki No Uta by Keiko Takemiya deserves to be translated in English. That’s why I’m looking for a TRANSLATOR (Japanese → English) and a PROOFREADER. I’ll do the editing. We’re going to translate from where Scarlet Carnival ended.

If you are a fan of this amazing manga, please, help us! REBLOG and SHARE this! Join the group as a translator, a proofreader, an editor or whatever you want! You can contact us here: http://kazetokinoutaproject.tumblr.com/post/22721250861/do-you-want-to-join

I know I’ve seen a few people on tumblr express some kind of interest in maybe starting up Kazeki scanlations themselves, so if you are one of those people perhaps you can join up with this!

(ALSO I should probably mention that I’m already working on scanlating Dove of Happiness myself with a friend’s translation so if you were planning to get to that eventually now you don’t have to yay!!)

My goods! I was given the postcards on the right (the Terra E cards, the black and white characters - I don’t know the story name - and the Gilbert cards) by one of the workers who remembered me from last week.

The b&w cards are Tenma no Ketsuzoku, I believe!
And on the bottom left, we can see how Takemiya could never decide what color Serge’s skin is…

SPOILER:
Auguste tells Gilbert he’s his father. I’m not sure who Augi was talking on on the previous page, so I’m not sure who “won”; he may be referring to his duel with Bonnard, but I don’t have my Kazeki manga here to verify:
Panel 1: “…katsute wa yurusanai.”  (“… won, and I can’t forgive you.”
Panel 2: “Watashi wa omae no…” (“I am your…”)
Panel 3: “…chichi oya da.” (“…your father.”)
Panel 4: “Kaerun da Maruseiyu e.” (“Come back with me to Marseilles.”)

Kazeki art exhibit art book photos

grand-composer:

These are photos from the Kazeki art exhibit art books from the 4/28-5/5 Kaze art exhibit in Tokyo. No photography was allowed inside, so these pictures represent about 80% of the exhibit (the other 20% are cover art and other well-known Kazeki pieces that I didn’t think it necessary to show them again here.

Since you can’t make it to the exhibit, I’ll bring the exhibit images to you!

There were two books for sale: number 1 and 2. Number one has photos from last year’s exhibit, while number two has pictures from this year’s exhibit. Book two cost twice as much as book one. Some pictures at the exhibit are not shown in these books.

The photos in the books show flaws in the drawings that are usually hidden when printed in manga, i.e. correctional fluid marks, food stains, eraser marks, torn edges, etc. I think this lends a beautiful character to the pictures.

Please enjoy!

I’m not going to reblog everything that is cool because that would be everything. Y’all should check out the stuff they’ve just posted!

Here’s the detail of the painting I gave to the awesome Keiko Takemiya. Watercolor, pencil, and poster paint. I’ll show the entire picture on DA.
